    Shayastagi gham ke sabab ankhon ke sehraa
    Nmnak to ho jatay hain jal thal nahi hoty

    Kaisay hi talatum hon magr qalzum jaan mein 
    Kuch yaad jazeery hain ke ojhal nahi hote

    Ashaaq ke manind kayi ahal hawas bhi 
    Pagal to nazar atay hain pagal nahi hotey

    Sab khuwaishe poori hon aisa nahi hai 
    Jaisay kayi ashaar mukammal nahi
